The curriculum is designed to focus on the following:


  • Build industry machinery, toys, mechanical equipment using Mindstorms Robots kits
  • Be taught engineering concepts related to their building devices
  • Be taught industrial robots synonymous with their Mindstorms Robots and how they have helped organizations save costs and trim manpower
  • Do simple block programming or coding (e.g. Movements and turns)
  • Develop 4 different sensors for the robot to take in information

The curriculum is designed to focus on the following:


  • Programme robots to make basic movements, to use sensors to understand their surroundings
  • Programme robots to take on missions from case studies of existing robotics appli¬cations
  • Be taught how robotics programming is omnipresent in Medical, Freight, Agriculture, Aviation, Service and Automotive industries
  • Study on case studies of automation in large companies around the world

Over the course of the program, students will:


  • Build model robots either from designs presented using Lego Digital Designer software
  • Be inventive in creating simple and complex models
  • Understand of the diverse range of permutations of building possibilities from the Mindstorms Robot Kits provided
  • Do a building challenge and a programming challenge

Students will be provided a comprehen-sive package of the following:


  • 3D design observations from Lego Digital Design
  • Collaborative building work amongst students to spur critical thinking
  • Immediate teacher support in design and programming
  • Guided process of building and explana¬tion of engineering concepts of Structural Balance
  • Weekly worksheets and performance analysis

Your child will be able to:


  • Gain experience in building structurally sound mobile robots
  • Display basic understanding of sequen¬tial logic using block programming demonstrations -advanced to a higher level to learn and implement programming concepts

Over the course of the program, students will:


  • Be given a problem to solve by Robotics programming
  • Solve a small and large mission
  • Train their programming prowess rigorously and assess their ability to analyze the situations
  • Be invited to take part in national or regional competitions should they be selected

Students will be provided a comprehen-sive package of the following:
